1. Abe 'Voco' Kesh. Produced BC #1 & #2, was responsible for introducing the "Blues Music" to a whole generation of white hippies.
2. Dusty Street. She is still a radio personality in Los Angeles. She had her own show on KSAN for years. She really liked Leigh Stephens and would play the Red Weather album a lot. Dusty was also Voco's girlfriend for a long time. Nice lady and great radio person.
3. Tom Donahue. He started it all - basically changed the way people listened to the radio as far as format - it was really the first alternative music station in the United States for all kinds of music. He liked Blue Cheer and thus played the hell out of that first tape. He was the boss and started the station as far as format.
4. Raechel Donahue. Tom's wife, she ran a lot of the station from the business standpoint and occasionally you would hear her on the radio too.
5. Milan Melvin. Produced BC #3, was working for Mercury Records then as a music scout and had been working as a record personality (own show) for awhile. Of interest is that Milan was married to Mimi Farina (Joan Baez' sister) for awhile. Milan was sort of a fancy dan and had a Sir Galahad image, swashbuckling pirate sort of - nice enough.
