". . . the scoop is this: the band is reissuing our album ourselves, and it will be distributedthrough
a local record label called Mod Lang in Berkeley, CA.
The reissue will have their label name on it, but it is a band reissue. We have a 12 page booklet
included with photos, bio material, and we also have included 3 bonus tracks.
It will be available from Mod Lang's website as mailorder.
As far as the european release, that was to be done through See For Miles."

Savage Resurrection got together last summer for a reunion jam and we really had fun. We're planning on getting together twice next month and recording what we do. If we like it enough we might release it.
I just found out that See For Miles has decided to rerelease our album after all. Here is what I posted on U-Spaces:
A Savage Resurrection rerelease on See For Miles ???
I just heard that See For Miles is releasing our album next week. I hope this is just a rumor, but I don't think so.
They had planned on releasing something a year and half ago but didn't. I thought integrity had won out and admired Mr. Miles very much for it. Looks like they are going ahead anyway.
Just for the record:
1) This is NOT a band sanctioned release. This was done without any collaboration from the band and we do not approve of it. Also, we'll get nothing for it. Mr. Miles will reap the rewards of our hard work.
2) There will be no bonus tracks or extra info other than what they make up or extrapolate from already published info.
3) OUR rerelease on Mod Lang is readily available in the U.K. as well as here.
While they have every legal right to do so, I am extremely disappointed that they would release an inferior version of our music, compete with the band's own reissue and I urge everyone to get the word out NOT to buy their version.
Sorry to be so blunt, but after all these years it's disappointing to have to deal with music biz bullshit where someone is again trying to screw the artists.
Mr. Miles, I just can't believe you would do this. Hope I'm wrong.
In other words, :-(
Thanks, Randy Hammon, Savage Resurrection
